This is a perfect replacement for a small 50-watt incandescent flood. Uses much less energy, stays cool, and the light color is the same as incandescent. My preference is to buy Philips LED lamps because I have found that they do not generate AM radio noise like some other brands.

Waste of money
I bought 7 bulbs. One light bulb burnt out in 6 months and another one burnt out in less than a year. They all started to fade within a few months. I didn't expect them to last years 22 years as stated on the packaging, but I didn't expect them to burn out this soon! Now, I have to hire someone again to change all the bulbs, because I have cathedral ceiling. Unfortunately, thete aren't many Par 16 options.

The light called for 65w, however, the closest Home Depot could come was this 50w equivalent LED bulb. Not quite as bright as the original, but close enough.
