      A:  Packaging states they are suitable for enclosed fixtures. I have not used them in enclosed fixtures, so cannot attest that they will work well when used in enclosed fixture.

            So I purchased this brand specifically because I was told they were of high-quality. But I get them and install them into my ceiling can light fixtures....and they HUM. They make noise! Yuck! The worst part - is right there on the packaging they have in nice large font "no hum". Guess what - they lied. The small print on the box tries to argue that if you are a foot away from the light there is no audible hum. Nope. I can stand a solid 6 feet away and hear them humming.
