Home Depot has them but they're getting harder to find. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to led retrofit kits. They just screw into the old socket. Great lighting, you never have to change bulbs, and they save 80% on power consumption. I got a pack of 12 for $66! At HD

These bulbs are about 3.75" in diameter and about 5.4" in height. I would suggest looking at a BR40 bulb which are 5" in diameter and around 6.25" in height. Try www.homedepot.com/p/202229400 for a link to a BR40 12-pack.

I have been using these bulbs for years, and have never had one burn out the moment I installed it. It may have been a defect in the bulb.

I have tried several brands so far. Are these really dimmable?

Yes they are dimmable. We have used these in our kitchen for our recessed lighting which is on a dimmer switch for over 14 years. I dim the lights every night for a little bit of light while watching TV in the living room. They work great and last a good while.

Anyone know the beam angle of this lamp? Thanks

I needed incandescent floods to work with my dimmer switch. All the so-called dimmable LED and fluorescent bulbs did not dim. If you are having trouble with your dimable floods not dimming then use this incandescent alternative.

We needed to replace 2 lights in our track lighting. The lighting is up on a high ceiling and we decided to replace all the lights. It is an older product and we were happy to find the light bulbs at Home Depot Wanted to say thank you! Pictures relate to prior purchase. Associates helped me find items to turn a wagon into a pirate ship for the 2015 Rehoboth Beach Sea Witch Festival. We were winners last year (Elsa and the Pugcicles) and this year as Pirates and Puganeers. Cardboard boxes, duck tape, fasteners, dowels, and pipe insulation helped make the transition. We will need your help next year to turn the wagon into Cinderella's Castle...Pugerellas and Prince Charming.
