Two Out of Three still ain't good...
Bought the 3-pack today because I have 3 lights in a row off the same dimmer, and I wanted the brightness settings to match. Went with Philips over Cree, since the demo in-store showed the warm glow effect and the fact that the bulb seemed to work across the entire range of the dimmer. But when I got them home and installed them, one of the three showed a cold blue color temperature and never got the "warm glow" at the dim end of the range that the other two have. Swapped the bulb positions, and the problem moved with the bulb, so it's not some difference in the fixture. I am not particularly fussy about color temperatures, but it's as bad as daylight versus warm and makes the one fixture stick out like a sore thumb. I've contacted the manufacturer and will try to update this if they resolve the problem satisfactorily, but if I end up returning them to the store, I'm thinking that I'd just be playing Russian Roulette with another three pack of Philips.
And for what it's worth, compared to another LED downlight fixture in the same room, (replacement fixture, not a separate bulb like this...Econo brand, probably), yes, these remain lit clear down to 1%, but the others are much dimmer at 10% than these are at 1%, so what seems like an extended dim range doesn't actually result in more real range, in my opinion. (They're both on Leviton "Smart" dimmers, if you're wondering how I can be so precise with percentages).

The bulbs work fine where the switch is just on/off. If used with dimmer switches, the light could remain on at a low intensity even when switched off.

Philips 65-Watt Equivalent with Warm Glow BR30 Dimmable LED ENERGY STAR Light Bulb, Soft White. These are fine bulbs and the warm glow effect works and is not that different than incandescent. Better than the Cree which I tried first although another fine bulb was too white for me even in soft white (and dimmed less than these). But the LED's just don't dim like an incandescent. If an incandescent dims 90% then these are like 70% I estimate approximately 20% brighter at the lowest setting. If that doesn't matter to you (but the energy savings does) go for it but if you're like me with 24 dimmable floods on the main level and want low, low mood light unless tasking, then stick with incandescent for now until they breakthrough LED's that are not only warm but fully dimmable.
