Using 4 sets as ambiance lighting on top of my kitchen cabinets.Strong enough to light up the room on Daylight mode.Didn't have to use the adhesive since it can stand on its own.It would be nice if Philips makes matching remote wall switches like Caseta.

Quick Disappointment and Return
Purchased based on price point and being associated with the Philips name, interfacing to Echo. Immediate regret, quick return for refund. 1) Boxes on the shelf do not have a tape security seal. One of two units purchased clearly had coffee or soda spilled over the inside. 2) Installation as desired, pairing with WiZ app successful. 3) Continual loss of connection to Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz dedicated channel, less than 1 foot away from unobstructed router — lack of connectivity confirmed by Philips WiZ support through the app. 4) Echo Plus recognized and added light strip to the home network of devices, but was never able to control due to “Device is unresponsive” error. 5) Attempts to verify and correct issues with technical support via chat in app were essentially useless. All return messages came after 11pm EST or later. Elementary school troubleshooting. (Is the device plugged in? Restart router and lights. Etc.) Fantastic light color/output, extension strip worked without issue. All other important features (connectivity, control) made this an easy return.

love these!
I own 3 of these throughout my home and plan to get more. Plugs in and the lights look beautiful. The stickiness is great and I’ve had no problems with the strips falling off. The app pairing can be a bit weird at first. But once set up with schedules for each strip that you have, the whole mood of my rooms has improved. If you aren’t able to have under cabinet lights or can’t afford to get them professionally installed, these are a great alternative. Colors fully customizable. I use them also for my office and my work days just got a whole lot better in there. Highly recommend!

Great way to add some cool color accents to your room!
This light strip is wonderful to add different light patterns to your room. It is controllablel by an app or different smart home applications so you can control the lights from anywhere on your phone!! The starter kit includes a strip and power adapter and the strip comes with an adhesive on the back so it takes you a few seconds to stick on the strip and you are ready to go!! The strip is also flexible so you can stick the strick to any flat surface. The possibilites are endless on what you can do with this light strip

Connecting is too easy!!
It literally takes a couple of seconds to connect this extension strip to your existing Phillips lightstrip. The light strip gives off a total of 800 lumens and can be controlled by an app you download onto your phone

You can get super creative with this light strip and get a lot of different and cool lighting options out of it. I built a sound studio and wanted to put lights behind sound panels I installed. Very easy to set up and control using the app

Anyone having issues with this brand has no business using smart products period.
Super simple setup, took a minute of playing with but once you figure it out it works easily for the rest of them. I have very poor WiFi signal on my top floor but still got a series of these products connected in minutes. The quality and value are unparalleled. The Wiz Connected app is not the best, could use some refining and cleaning up but it’s still plenty versatile and effective. Anyone leaving less than stellar reviews has no business using any such products

Simple install. Simple sync. And very user friendly. I put them over the crown moulding on top of my kitchen cabinets. It makes the kitchen look so much better. These things are worth it!
