AnswersThis would work great in a night light provided the night light accepts a candelabra base (e12) light bulb. I am not sure what a sky lamp is, but as long as the lamp is designed to take an e12 bulb it should be fine.

The color range for these bulbs is amazing! I didn't expect anything less having a household full of Hue bulbs, but these were my first in this style. The bulbs are cool to touch at the top, but the base does get warm. I had no trouble connecting to the app.

I love the fact that I can control this bulb with my phone, and that I can set it to any color. I don't love the high price, though, or the fact that, as of now (10/18), I can only control one Philips Hue hub with my Alexa app. Since I have one at home and one in my office, I'd like to be able to control both hubs with Alexa.

The product itself works. I think you pay too much of a premium for the color aspect of it. It's nice and you play with a few colors and scenes and then your done with the newness and stuck with bulbs that ultimately (collectively) cost the same or even more than the unit you put it in. In the end, not worth it.
