Gallery Perfect 7 Piece Wall Frame Set Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always in search of good quality frames for my many pictures. Unfortunately, I usually am disappointed. Not this time! This 7 piece frame set is absolutely fantastic. Not only is it constructed from high quality wood but the craftsmanship is unbelievable. The selection of sizes included in this set makes it perfect to accommodate any picture. I love that it comes with beautiful decorative pictures that fit wonderfully with my home decor. Plus, I have the option of using my own pictures as well. This is definitely a frame set I will be using over and over in my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this picture frame set and I am in shock first off in the packaging! It was so many frames packaged in a small box! Also it came with all hardware which was amazing! Secondly the set up fits perfectly and is beautiful in my home. The only thing that could possibly improve is that the frames feel slightly lighter than I had hoped though they feel sturdy enough! All in all I really love the frames and highly reccomend these frames!

Nice packaging and the frame were covered well, no scratches on any of the frames. When I first opened up the box there was a pretty good order. Left the lid of the box open over night and the smell was gone in the morning. I like the walnut color rather then the black to match the color of furniture in my bedroom. Love the template set up, a big help (saving if for future use). I ironed them after I cut them apart so they would lay flat on the wall. Takes a little time setting the templates up on the wall. I used a level, tape measure, painters tape, push pins and small nails instead of the screws. Set it up a little different than what choices were on the box. After I got them in place I used the push pins in the hole markings on the template. Put them back in the holes as I took the piece's of the templates down off the wall. Then hammed up the nails and hung the frames. I think my set up looks great.

Nice mix of different frame sizes to create a unique photo collage. The overall footprint isn't huge but if you have the right space this works great. Also nice that the photo sizes are common and something you can easily order at your local 1-hr photo. Yes, you could go to the store and buy a bunch of frames but this was a reasonable shortcut for our busy family. The frames are decent, about what you may find at a big box store or your favorite Scandinavian furniture chain. The actual biggest time savings is the template that comes with. Just tape it up and mark your holes, pretty great. Overall, nice solution if you just want the convenience of getting everything in one box!

Gallery-style photo walls are so on trend now and this kit makes hanging one so easy. All you do is pick from the templates which arrangement you like the best, hang the template on the wall with some painters tape, step back and confirm you like the positioning, confirm it's level with your level (you don't have to do this but before putting holes in the wall I like to!), and then insert the screws in the spots marked on the template. I inserted the screws directly through the paper and then tore it away, guaranteeing perfect placement. It's so easy to do and saves hours of arranging, measuring and trying to recreate on the wall (or making a template). You can also cut apart the template to make even more arrangements but still have the benefit of the template. The frames are simple, black, gallery-style frames and are pretty lightweight.

This templated picture frame kit was simple to install and looks great. The black frames are a little over 1/2 inch thick and will easily match to any other black frames if you want ot add to your collage. In all, it took about 20 minutes to hang the frames using the template and the hardest part was getting the template even (I recommend having a helper to hold up one end while you tape up the other end). It comes with two sets of black and white pictures in case you haven't gotten a chance to print out your own photos yet, and the center photo comes with two mat sizes so you can choose which one is appropriate for your photos.

I wanted these frames to continue a photo collage I have going up the stairs and into the hallway. I have so far used 3 different frame sets (a total of 36 frames) and this one is the 4th frame set to go to the collage. These are very beautiful frames and I appreciate that they come with matting—that is something I am used to needing to purchase separately. The look and feel of the frames are very nice, and the wooden frame is smooth. I would say of the frames on the wall, these are the nicest. I thought that the template that came with the frames was a very good idea. I had previously had to meticulously measure the location of the hanger on the frame and map that out on the wall with a level and ruler to hang the existing frames. With this, I didn’t have to do that. Unfortunately, and I found this out after I hammered the first nail into the wall, that the location of the nail on the template was about a ½ inch higher than the hangers were actually located on the frames! If I wasn’t lining this up next to an existing collage, it probably would not have mattered since the difference was consistent across all frames. However, since I was, lining it up with other frames, I had to measure down ½ an inch from each indicator on the template, and hammer there. Also with the large 8x10 frame, the distance between the two hangers was off about ¼ an inch from the template, so I had to hammer twice to get the nails in the correct place for the frame to hang—annoying. “Measure twice, cut once!” You can cut up the template and rearrange the frames. I ended up using the recommended template, but I cut them up anyway so I had the opportunity to slide them around and select my ideal design. The other downside is that the 4x6 frames only have one latch to hold the back of the frame into the wooden frames, while the larger ones have multiple latches on both the vertical and horizontal axes. I did not feel that this was secure enough as I would be hanging them in the hallway, imagining glass shattering on the floor after someone accidentally bumping into them, so I taped the back to the frame (see photo) for an extra sense of security. The frames come with mounting hardware--screws and mollies. I did not use these as I am used to nails for hanging frames, but if you don't have any hardware it's nice that these come with it (be sure to double check the location between the template and the frame on the wall before drilling a larger hole for a screw). Overall, I am satisfied with these frames and am happy with how they look on the wall. I recommend them—just double check the template before hammering nails into the wall.

This is another great picture set that really cozy's up your home. Comes with 7 various sized frames and matting that are all very common sized, as well as a template for mounting. What's really cool about the template is that it allows you to cut it and line up the lines should you want to mount these on a staircase like I did. The template also tells you where to nail. Installation took all of 10 minutes with no guess work, just taping and leveling the template. Came out really high end in my opinion and gives my staircase a very warm, welcoming feeling. Now I just need to go get some of my pictures printed. Highly recommend for adding some class/memories to a bland staircase wall!
