A: Depending of how you will handle them, but overall they are very sturdy and strong. I hope this helps.

A: A one time flight, maybe. Continuous, no.

A: If your concern is if it will melt, then you should be ok. I have a bunch of them out in my non insulated shop here in Texas. It’s been super hot for over a month and they look like new. No heat issues at all.
A: I have used a number of these containers to store items in my garage, winter and summer, without an issue
A: You can drill a hole in almost anything
A: That's a great idea! There should be no reason you can't. The walls and lid are a little thicker but w the right drill bit .. maybe even using the one that you would drill out metal doors for the know would almost be the perfect size. Depends on the size on end of cable you could even use a saw and cut along the top edge a "U" to make ez to lay the cord in and the hole doesn't need to be that big , only the diameter of cord vs getting the ends through a whole. Good luck ! I hope I gave you some good ideas!
A: Yes. It is plastic.
A: Not good for lead acid battery you could drill large holes for ventilation but I. Would not recommend it.
