AnswerPlayStar's Dock Auger has a lag bolt included. It is located at the top. You drill a hole in your pipe, insert the top of the auger inside of it and then fasten by running the lag bolt through both pieces. Any additional questions please let us know. 1-888-PLAYSTAR (752-9782).

used them before to anchor deck in water, just wished the connecting hub was a little bigger.I used as is with no problem, but works better adding one or two thin 3/8 washers bent to fit into pipefor a tighter fit

Very good product. The only drawback I had was the fact that I had to file down the portion that sllides into the pipe's ends to get it into the pipe. Otherwise, no problem. And the filing did not take a great deal of effort.
