Once I got the stove installed, it worked as I had hoped. This poor review is based on the ordering and shipping process. First attempt I got the wrong stove, second attempt the stove was damaged beyond me wanting to accept. I finally got the stove and installed it, but a month late and that delayed my final inspection on my house.
Good stove, poor quality control on shipping. I will say the local HD store was very good at working with me even though they don't deal with online sales.

No way to clean ash from pipes
It heats, you can cook on it, it's built solid but there's a serious design flaw - when cleaning the pipes from the roof, the soot accumulates between the stove pipe opening, it should have a flue. We have to dismantle the pipe and use a shop vac to remove the soot where it's trapped. After using less than a year, the damper is very difficult to open and close. The door gasket never had a proper seal so each time we start the fire we have to push the gasket around the glass.

Overall a decent stove
I haven't had the chance to put this stove to any long term tests, other than fires to cure the paint, but it seems to burn quite well. My only gripe is not having any styrofoam to hold the bricks in place. It must've gotten tipped on its side at one point because the bricks were out of position and one was touching the glass. Luckily it didn't break, but it did leave a small scratch. If the scratch makes it crack when it gets hot I'll be requiring a replacement.
