A:  We have used packaged wood bundles, and we have added aromatic woods for grilling. Clean-up is easy, and the covered fire pit suffered no deterioration over the winter months.

A:  Hello Johnny .We use all kinds of wood even the artificial pressed logs. We have found it needs to be very dry and cut into smaller pieces. Last winter we cut our Christmas tree into smaller pieces when the needles were falling of and the pine burned extremely well. One thing is not so good: The top (led) has rusted so bad it can not be used anymore We are trying to buy a new led, (top) from Home Depot, but have not been successful yet Sincerely Michael and Gitta Nicolaisen .

A:  fire wood you would purchase at the grocery store fits fine.

A:  Wood needs to be dried out for 4-6 months. Kiln dried is good - maybe 3 logs out of the standard Home Depot bag of firewood for a couple hour fire

A:  We have used the Duraflame and PineLogs in it. We have also used natural wood from trees that were cut up

A:  I would suggest reaching out to the manufacturer themselves. I’ve done this before for a bbq pit that I bought from Home Depot and the manufacturer was able to help:)

A:  This is a nice good size fire pit. It comes with a flat top cover that can convert this fire pit into a table. Assembly was easy for me, perfect size for my back yard. I have 10x10 setting for fire pit area setup with patio furniture. I used this pit as table during the day and for us to sit around. I would recommend for price and size if you are looking for basic.

A:  You fail to mention if you had a cover for the pit ? I purchased a good one when I bought mine , it makes a big deference . I would think if you talked to customer service at Home Depot they might be able to help you . Did you get a parts list from the manufacture ?

A:  Call the manufacturer they sell parts.
