can the glass doors be shut while burning the fireplace
Hello Blake, We recommend when a fire is burning the glass doors must remain open until the fire has burned out to embers. Users can create fires large enough to damage the doors if the glass doors are closed during a fire; the heat should be able to enter the room.
I would say no as it gets very hot. The interior screen doors stay shut though and you really see the fire nice through them.
