About the only outdoor product of its kind that is for outdoor use. I use it outside my Airbnb suite so that guests can see to check in. Would make a night light for the garage too. Has an on/off switch (on the right side of the light in the picture). It's made of plastic so it won't rust and have chipping paint after a few years. It has a 2-prong plug on the other end. The cord is really long if you have to run a long way to an outlet. The visor is held in place by the lower dome when you screw it in. The instruction manual never even mentioned this. I spent about 5 minutes trying to push it past the lip on the top before I finally figured out how it's meant to be held in place! My other complaint is that it is not balanced. The picture shows it hanging perfectly vertical. That's false advertising. It tilts a bit, so it looks kind of tacky.
