I have a Power Bright 600 W run, 1000 W surge inverter unit that would not start and run my 550 W oxogen concentrator. Probably because the start up surge current is too high. It's a little over kill but I purchased the APS1500-12 (1500 W run, 3000 W surge) and it started and ran my 550 W unit flawlessly. Just a note here but the product specs and box both state 3000 W surge capacity but the unit label indicates 2500 W surge. Oh well ! Can Power Bright or anyone else explain this ?

    Pure sine inverter.
We installed this unit in a Freightliner Cascadia. So far the unit has worked well. It will run didital equipment that a standard induced wave inverter would not allow to turn on. Once turned on 20 days ago the unit has been on continually, this is why we invested the extra money in a high quality unit. The only slight drawback is it's large size but if the unit continues to perform well it will be worth it.

      don't handle a freezer
If the build in cooler wants to start, (small freezer its plugged in) the inverter just buzz and won't turn back on.
