Hi Samie. Yes, the 15 amp model has a more power than the 13 amp model. Other than that, the rest of the specs are the same for both.

Would not recommend it on gravel because it goes right down to the decking and rocks would damage the plastic

I'm a 71 year old male with arthritis and just used this blower for the first time. I have a 2 stage gas blower for drive way, but needed something light and more versatile for my decks. I just used it on about 8" of snow and was very impressed with it's power and and how far it would toss the snow and at only 47lbs it was easier to move around than a vacuum cleaner . I had it shipped right to my door and it was well packaged and assembly was very easy. Time will tell how durable it is

The blower works great on light fluffy snow upto 4 inches, not more than that. It took me over 2 hours with continuous declogging of the chute with a stick. Also i just have to blow 6 inches at a time, to avoid clogging. If you are in Northeast and want to have a life , buy a two stage battery operated or a gas powered blower and self propelled.
