It's a little silly but I got this to fill the void between using my Dremel for small things and breaking out the angle grinder when it's not totally need. Not only that but this is the ideal size for most sanding and cutting operations along with a great selection of compatible discs and abrasives. It does take a fair amount of airflow so be sure your air supply is up to the task. It's probably not shocking but if I had a gripe the included wrenches are not great. The forks already bent when trying to loosen up the chuck making them unusable. Doesn't take away from the usefulness of the grinder but a gripe nonetheless.

Nice Die Grinder What you get in the box: Die Grinder Burr Wrenches You will need to supply your own male quick coupler 1/4" NPT. This is a very nice little die grinder that’s easy to use and it’s also comfortable in the hand. The grinder runs very smooth so you're hands won't take a beating. The grinder is light and nimble so it can get into smaller spaces easily. The body is comfortable in the hand since it has a soft rubber coating (black) with a nice finger grip area (red). The tool is supplied with a 1/4" collet but is will accept smaller collets if you have some smaller tools. The tool is on the very loud side at 92 Db, so good ear protection is needed. These small grinders seem to be air hogs and this one is no exception needing about 12 CFM. The only negative is the safety on the trigger lever. It doesn't seem to stick up far enough to easily fold it back into the run position. Not a big deal but it’s a little irritating. Overall this is a good little grinder that gets the job done.

The Powermate VX #024-0078CT air die grinder is a great little grinder. It's rated at 25,000 rpm and has a 1/4" npt air inlet. It's rated to perform best at 90psi and runs strong at that pressure, delivering very good grinding performance. You will want to maintain that pressure for the strongest and best performance. As you can see it works very well with standard 1/4" shaft grinding wheels and works great in cleaning up rust. I definitely recommend it as a quality air grinder. You will need to oil it regularly for the best performance.

I use a lot of air tools in my job, I hate to change cutters or discs all the time so I have many die grinders on hand. I recieved this powermate air die grinder to try and write a review on it. First I have never seen a powermate tool before, second I am very picky with the tools I am using. I installed a fitting of my own in the tool gave it a squirting of tool oil and ran it at a slow speed for a minute or two. I installed a carbide burr in it and started porting,I noticed the bearings in the grinder smoothed right out in a minute or so and I liked the rubber feel to the tool. It wasn't slippery and my hand did not get overly cold. I really enjoyed using this grinder quite a bit. I was going to take my burr out of it and throw it in a drawer when I was done testing, but I used it for about 4 hours straight and really liked it. My burr will live in this tool until one or the other gives up.

Air Die Grinder I received the Air Die Grinder to test for Home Depot and must say that it dies the job for a small inexpensive grinder. A couple of things that you have to keep in mind, first don't try and use it with more than 90 PSI. Works best at 90 and be sure to keep it oiled. You will have to supply your own coupler. This grinder fits well in your hand and is also quite comfortable.

I have used this tool exactly once in the 3 weeks I have owned it. So this review is based on that experience. It would well for cutting nails and screws and then grinding them down flat. I made the mistake of letting my normal 130 psi from my tank to the tool at first … that is way too much I lowered it to about 90 psi which was good. Another mistake, I didn’t oil it before putting too much PSI through the grinder … so put a bit, literally a bit of oil, before first use and after every use. It works so much better. The tool itself fits well in your hand and it is easy to use once you control the PSI put through it. I think I will start using this more not that I have a better understanding of using it.

For the price you can't beat it. Great little grinder for the home garage. I have a similar one from a discount supplier but this one for a couple of dollars more does a better job. It runs at higher RPMs (using the same airflow), has rubber grip, and just operates smoother. It does not come with a shield which would be a nice option to have but isn't a deal breaker. If it was a cutting wheel that'd be a different story, but with a grinder it's really not necessary. Overall very pleased.

This is a great little die grinder. I do a lot of steel fabrication and a die grinder is never too far away. This one is a straight design. I put a air quick connect nipple on it, a few drops of Marvel Mystery Oil and it fired right up. I always oil my air tools before I use them. A couple of drops and they last a long time. This tool works well with my carbide burrs. No axial wobble or runout. I have used it in several jobs to my satisfaction. Is it strong enough for enough for a production shop? I don't know yet. For my weekend projects, it works quite well and I am happy with the tool

The AIRDIE GRINDER is comfortable in my hands. It is easy to use. It is easy to insert the bits into it. The grinder has plenty of power for most jobs. You have to install an air fitting and oil it before you use it. Keep it oiled or it will fail before it should. This grinder works on metal and wood equally well. I am very pleased with this air grinder.

Here's a tool every handy man should have in his tool box. This die grinder is very light, easy to hold and use. Feels very secure in your hand... Works great for those light cutting jobs that you never seem to have time for... Includes the needed collet wrenches. Just rember to dial back your air pressure a bit. 90 P.S.I. is the suggested max air pressure. Oil it lightly after each use and it should last a long time.
