These rubber bands are the only way to go when moving nice/expensive furniture. They are expensive, but these rubber bands will hold the blankets in place. DO NOT use any type of tape, as it can ruin the finish and can be difficult to remove. Trucks get extremely hot, and the tape can melt into the furniture. Make sure that you use plenty of blankets when wrapping your furniture with the rubber bands. The furniture should be completely covered. Take off any pedestals that the furniture stands on, so the furniture can sit flat on the truck. I also secured tiling sponges to the corners of furniture with the blankets and rubber bands, to prevent damage from shifting and rocking against the walls of the truck or with other furniture. You can also use plastic wrap to hold the drawers in place, or place multiple rubber bands. Also, for highway trips, you should secure heavy furniture at the front of the truck, with ratcheting sets, very thin ones that will fit in U-Haul's railings. (Most types of ratchets will not work as they are too thick.) NOTE: Never over tighten the rubber bands or the ratchets, or the furniture can break when too much tension is applied. On concrete highways, when using large trucks with crappy suspensions, do not drive faster than 50mph, or your furniture will get damaged, no matter how well you cover it.
