AnswersThere is no identifiable treatment on the paper. I can't speak to any chemical treatments that might be in the paper composition. It sure seems like plain paper as I use it.

This paper is intended as packing material to protect dishes, pictures, etc during a move. It certainly works well for that purpose, and it’s very economical: costing a bit over 3 cents per foot. I also use it as a drop “cloth” for painting and staining projects. It’s plenty wide enough (24”) and as long as you need it to be, unless you need over 900 feet of it! The room was delivered a bit damaged. The two plastic end caps were broken, which for my purposes was not that important. It looks as though these end caps might be used to spindle mount the roll.

This 3 ft by 1200 ft roll of wrapping paper is just what I needed. It is #30 weight, which in my opinion is slightly thinner than my current copy paper. If you need something heavier, then pay attention to the weight of the paper when ordering. This paper is very pliable and works great for packing glassware, dishes and stuffing corners and holes to secure items. I think this would also be easy to use for wall texture. Wrap presents in this soft brown earth tone, add colorful ribbon, a bow, and a pine cone or two and it would be a money saver on gift wrap Use it for the grand kids to color or draw on. I also think this is sturdy enough to use to cut patterns for people who like to sew. There are tons of videos online of crafts you can use brown paper with. This arrived promptly in clear plastic wrap delivered right to my door. It is a great price for the amount of paper you get.

I'm using this roll of paper as wrapping paper. I know that sounds kinda crazy but this paper is environmentally friendly. It can even be put in your mulching pile. Probably never run out but it's original and one will always know where the package came from !
