    A:  I doubt it. They’re very thin, but then again, I know nothing about soundproofing a wall. Sorry.

      A:  I use these for ?soundproofing? my studio and I can attest they they don?t completely sound proof, but they do however dampen undesirable echo and ringing noises significantly and if your on a budget these are a great option, disregard the other answers.

            I USED IT TO BUILD A DRESSER AND MOVE IT AROUND WITHOUT SCRATCHING MY WOOD FLOORS. I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY ANOTHER ONE.

                The ‘blankets’ turned out to be merely heavy felt. While they are nice quality, they are not the cushioned protection I expected. To be fair, they came in a heavy plastic pouch and I should have investigated further. But for $15+, I am disappointed as I had to use 2 or 3 to achieve the protection I desired.

                  Better than layers of paper for packing, but definitely nowhere near the level of protection you get from true packing blankets. This is basically a felt blanket, or an old school wool army blanket.

                    Fine for light applications, is not double lined, hence the less expensive option. Seems sturdy enough.
