Mate's Drifted Gray Queen Platform Storage Bed with 6-Drawers

I love it! Just beautiful!

After screwed in one of the drawer, the wood splitted. It maybe broken in a few months if not careful. The slates can easily gave you splinter if not careful. Overall is good. It was fairly easy to install the bed from the instructions.

Can’t even finish building this bed because the crews do not fit at the most important end of the bed. Now I have to go to the store and see if I even find screws for it.

Easy to built, good material and not too heave to move once its everything set and include 6 draws. really good choice to discard dresser from the room

We're very happy with this platform. I assembled this bed by myself (50 yr old female). Another set of hands might have been useful at certain points but not critical. If you have wood floors I recommend some felt on the bottom only after you've assembled everything and made sure the drawers are aligned and open easily. It's sturdy, the drawers are roomy yet the bed is not much bigger than our queen mattress itself. Good, efficient design. It came with written illustrated instructions so I didn't have to look at them online or print them out. We're most likely going to purchase others for all our beds. Delivery recommended. The three boxes it came in were each quite heavy.

we loved this bed at first but it didn’t last more than 5 months. I know it’s cheap but dang The drawers barely held together. The tiny screws are honestly a joke....and the wood is basically cardboard

Being from Home Depot I wasn't expecting much in the furniture department so was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this once assembled. I also got the bookcase headboard which was equally good; however, there are some things to consider if you plan to purchase this: 1. I am a very handy person and even have my own wood shop. Even using a power drill to speed things up this took me and a helper 5 hours of assembly to finish the bed and headboard combo. This would be extremely cumbersome to assemble alone. 2. The manufacturing of this pieces of the bed, while good, isn't perfect. The instructions say DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN many times and you should believe them. On one of the side rails the pre-drill connector holes were slightly too wide so even though it didn't even feel snug while screwing I over tightened and split the rail slightly (it was still usable and hidden). 3. In the first steps of the instructions it tells you to put the connectors into all the holes. Then in the next steps you need to lift the rails and assemble them... in the process all the connectors fall out and roll all over the floor. They are small and only give you the exact amount of parts you need so don't follow the steps and put the parts in as you need them. Took my kids like 45 minutes to find one of the ones we lost. 4. When installing the backing on the headboard you need to place the headboard face down on the floor. But as soon as you do you can't see where to nail the brads in; so make sure to measure where the dividers are first. On another note regarding the headboard; the headboard is a free standing piece of furniture and you basically push the bed up against it. With books and stuff piled into it it has the potential to be a little tippy, so make sure you install the feet as close to the ends of the boards as you can and get it up against a wall. If Home Depot reads this, I would highly suggest they develop some sort of bracket to tie this to the bed itself; which I plan to do on my own.

This bed was not hard.. my 13 yo daughter and I did it in a day. There were some pieces of hardware which were tricky and I only wish they'd sent a few extras in case one didn't work. We still have one small piece that was too small for the screw that went into it, but otherwise, it went together pretty well. She really likes it.

Very solid bed with 6 drawers. It definitely takes more than one person to put this bed together and the instructions could be greatly improved (thus 4 stars), but the bed itself is great!
