Yes the entire dresser comes in pieces, although the assembly is rather easy for someone who can put a puzzle together would have no problems, and did not have any missing pieces.

I did not put mine in any special order. You want to make sure that the rollers that you install are all correct. You will see they are marked something like CR and DR which is IMP Drawer Right, Chest Right or whatever you want to call the dresser. That way they line up properly. I just put mine in as they are all the same exact size. Hope this helps.
