Beautiful and perfect replacement
Great replacement for old vintage mortise locksets that we have in our 1930's home. Almost exactly the same size and have a beautiful finish on them. You can reverse the latch on the mortise depending on which way your door goes,

FAILED AFTER ONLY 3 YEARS TRAPPING USER IN ROOM! This product is dangerous and I plan on contacting prime-line to discontinue it. Ok, so I installed two separate locks, one on my own bedroom, and one on my daughters bedroom. After 3 short years the one on my daughters bedroom failed, turning the door know would not move the latch mechanism. I had to leave work and rush home to sawzall the latch mechanism from between the jamb and the door to get her free. Thanks for the trauma, and damage to the stop Prime line! She was so traumatized after waking up and being locked in her room, that I had to saw off the lock latch mechanism as shown in the photo below. Then approximately a week later, on this day, I went upstairs to let my dogs out of the bedroom, and could not open my bedroom door. The door knob failed to engage the latch mechanism, so I had to damage the stop on that jamb and use the same sawzall to cut off the latch mechanism on that door, freeing my wife who was asleep at the time (no longer), and freeing my dogs. Imagine my daughter not having her cell phone. Imagine if there was a fire. Imagine if this happened to someone elderly. THIS PRODUCT IS DANGEROUS!

Replacement Lockset Made Simple
For older homes where you need to replace the entire lockset, this is the perfect product. I was very happy with how easy it was to install, the quality and the price...I was expecting to pay more and was pleasantly surprised with the product, thank you!!

Easy way to make "old" look new again
Remodeling an old house on a tight budget is not easy. The doors are very hard to replace because of the unusual sizes. We were grateful to find this product. We were able to save by repainting the old door and replacing the old knobs with these beautiful glass knob sets. I remember these from my childhood and always thought they looked like big diamonds. They are great!

The door lock I bought was for a left swing...
The door lock I bought was for a left swing door. My door is right swing. The strike couldn't be changed and thus I had to bring it back. Nowhere on the package was there indication of door swing or instruction how to change the (turn around) strike. Too bad.
