Junk heater don’t buy. Got a c3 reading but it has a full tank. Turn on for about 5 senconds then kicks off giving me the error. Reset it and still get the same code. Waste of money

This heater is very finicky and I had similar problems as the other commenters. The error codes are difficult to understand and flip around too. The manual is not a lot of help except you need to read the part about the oil pump pressure adjustment. - which can be the main problem. Unscrew and remove the top shroud and plastic air intake screen first. The internal pressure gauge needs the heater to run for two minutes so you have to adjust the pressure by trial and error before it will run for that long. Removing the shroud helps it to run better too by allowing more air to the burner. Pressing the mode button will then display the pressure reading. Once adjusted to 6.9 pressure at manual operation setting 5 (highest) it ran great. However I had to leave off the intake grill when reattaching the shroud for enough air to flow to the burner.

Bought a referbished one and out of the box went to fire it up. It lit without issue but the fan was hitting something. These units are made to be easily taken apart thank God so upon taking the top cover off. I realized they only added clips to the front screw holes but not the back, therefore no clearence. After adding some old clips I had laying around I was back in business. Much quieter though still loud. Thermostat doesn't shut off automatically nor turn unit on. It all has to be Manully done, which is weird. However it does kick down from high to low automatically. For the price, well worth it and unlike everyone else here, mine hasn't thrown any codes yet! *knocks on wood*

well i was nervous because of some bad reviews on some web sites. well i don't know if i got one of the good ones or maybe it was tested when it was refurbished, but mine works great. i have a 3 car garage and it was 37Deg in there i started this up and it ran for about 1 minute and went out it gave me an error code so i tried to start it up again and after about 1 minute it did it again. i thought i was going to have to return it . so i looked up the code and it was low fuel pressure problem. i tried to start it again and after about 2 minutes i got a different trouble code. i was getting frustrated so i went back to the manual and had to use the reset button. i was almost ready to pack it up and send it back but i tried again and it worked great. i think there was air in the fuel system and fuel pump witch had to work its way out. i have used it a bunch now and it is awesome, it will get my 3 car shop from 37 deg to 57 deg in just over 1/2 hr. my shop is a steal building with thin foam insulation with 9 foot walls. the only complaint i have is it is loud!! when it starts up it starts up at full speed, after about 2 minutes it reduces the fan speed and it is a little quieter. you can hit the up arrow and it will go back to full speed. i keep mine on level 2. you have a choice 1-5. so my final rating is it is great if you don't mind the noise and don't get frustrated wile getting the fuel system primed. i used diesel fuel and i don't get any off odors once it is running. it does smoke a little right at the start and when you shut it off but not when it is running. i bought a refurbished unit

I purchased new last year it worked great I used it twice, this season it will not stay lit It has code C5 and C6 keeps shutting down time after time after reset. And of course its out of warranty.

I purchased one thinking it looked great and would do the job. It wouldn't fire up. After about 5 resets it fired up. Heated the whole house in about 20 minutes. Then shut off with a c6 code (flame change) I had to unplug and plug back in. It fired up, heated up and shut down. Would only restart when unplugged. I switched to manual and set on low. It ran for a while then shut down. Could not get it to restart. I walked away and got back to work. A half hour or so I went back to try and the fan was running with a large puddle of fuel in front of the heater. I sat on hold for an hour and then gave up. Returned it to the store and got another. Of the same model. It won't start at all. Made in America used to mean something!

I bought one in January 2014. It looked cool and the specs looked good for the price but that's where it ends... It worked for 30 minutes and it started turning off and could not be restarted. Once in a while, it would run again for few minutes and again it would turn off. It was throwing all kinds of errors. I took it back thinking maybe I just got a bad one. The second one was even worse! It was giving me different errors than the first one. I have spent hours researching and going through manuals to see if I can fix it or adjust it since I want it to make it work and not have to go back and return it again! After couple days of trying, I gave up, returned it and will never buy this brand again! They obviously have NO quality control at all! This product shouldn't even be sold. I can't believe that the retailers would even have this type of product on their shelves. It reflex bad on them for carrying such junk in their stores.

Delayed shipping did not deliver on time,the thermostat could not be adjusted causing the heater run continuiously using excessive fuel.
