Gas Fireplace Insert Duel Fuel Technology – 26,000 BTU

Love it! Can’t be any happier with the way it looks and works. Helps heat my whole 1400 sq ft house. The ventless logs where slightly damaged on the end of one of the logs but when it’s installed you can’t even notice.

Just installed it. I have not used it for heat yet so we will see how it works this winter.

Our contractor installed the unit. It's easy to use and with the blower attached heats quite a large area. It's also beautiful to look at.

This is an excellent deal for an all-inclusive gas fireplace which also comes with logs (which are not required for operation). I installed it without issue. HOWEVER, BE WARNED ABOUT PROCOM THE COMPANY. They are horrible to deal with. Their current BBB rating is an F. I received broken logs with my fireplace, in which I first contacted Home Depot for resolution. HD contacted ProCom and they said to submit a claim through their website which opens a case. They asked me to provide photos, receipt, and serial number. This was November, and it is now February with little follow up or resolution from the company. So far the unit is working as expected. I did have to reconnect the pilot light wire, as it was disconnected upon arrival. It makes the room and upstairs nice and toasty.

Great little unit that worked well with the limited space I had to work with between windows. Had to have a metal shim built to build out the face of the unit to adjust for veneer stone thickness. It was easy to install. It puts out quite a bit heat and warms the 500 sf room fairly quickly.

very temperamental. Mine worked when gas people hooked it up and a few days later I had it up an running, but every few minutes the fire would go out and then come back on after a few minutes more. I called support and they told me that this was not really a fireplace but a heater and that as a heater it would cycle on and off depending on the ambient temperature in the area. I was surprised since I thought i bought a fireplace. Next - a few days later I was not able to lite the fireplace - I tried for hours with no luck. this time when I called support they told me I needed a gas gauge to check my pressure. I told them I had it working twice before. Once with gas people and second on my own with the cycle problem. I have a 250 gallon tank and use propane for hot water, cooking, barbecue, and whole house generator. But support told me that their` unit might require a higher gas pressure. They said they would send me a new control nob and a new fitting. The fireplace - or heating unit according to them - requires a special inlet fitting but they did not provide one in the package. they told me that a special fitting with less thread is required, but they did not include with the unit. I have this unit already placed in the wall and it will require a lot of work, and hopefully no damage, to get it out. However, I'll play the game and take it out and check the pressure, change the fitting and test it outside of the wall. I have plenty of oxygen because I have installed this on my enclosed porch, so the notion of not enough oxygen is not relevant in my case. Also I had a professional gas company run a new line and hook up the unit at a cost of $500. I went to the return desk at HD and told the lady about my problems and that I was going to try and resolve with support - but that I am ready to return this unit if my attempt fails. At this point I would not recommend this product.

We had two fireplaces built for these inserts. House is 120 yrs. old and this is our only heat for approx. 3000 sq. ft. It keeps our living areas plenty warm, is very economical. The only thing I don't like is the residue from the gas heat itself. If you buy these also buy the blowers. We have had ours 4 winters but we are having to replace one of them before the next winter. Ours needs some repair but we thought for the price we would just purchase a new one.

Easy to install. Looks and performance excellent. Warms all the social area. I´m very happy with this product. I´m wandering if is possible put more logs on it and I want look the logs red when they are hot, Either way, it looks grat.

Simple fireplace, with attractive log set and realistic flame. It's easy to use and heats a room very quickly. It doesn't have a glass window, but a mesh screen.
