Can this be used to secure planters on a deck so they don't blow over in the wind? And how easy is it to break into different lengths and secure/lock in place (and unlock if I need more access to the planter)?
Asked by: Jen
I used the small firm flex ties on my trellises to keep the plants from blowing over in the wind and all you have to do is cut the length you need with a pair of scissors and place the end into the smaller hole on the chain and twist to lock in place.

I used it to tie back a bush we wanted to save that had fallen over after it had been overgrown by bushes that have since been removed. We used a tree as the stabilizer.
