Hi Mike, we recommend to refer to the paver stone manufacturer installation instructions for their base recommendations. We have seen installations using anywhere from 2 to 5 inches past the edging, depending upon the paver manufacturer's direction.

Hi Jon. There has been great demand for the ProFlex Paver Edging this season. We are restocking as quickly as possible, although replenished stock sells out very quickly. Depending upon your location and your local store, homedepot.com may be your earliest in-stock option. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time.

What can I use to connect two pieces?

We recommend to but the edgers up against each other and secure the last tab on each piece. The edging does not need connectors, since the edging is not seen above ground in a proper installation. The spikes in the end tabs will secure the edging appropriately.

Hi Cobra, ProFlex paver edging should work for your intended purpose. We suggest to follow the installation guide located on this product page for a typical paver application, which would include preparing the area with base materials, securing the edging, and then covering the area with your preferred groundcover. If installed properly, the edging should be able to contain the pebbles.

Haven't drilled out the holes, but based on ease of cutting to length, it should be rather easy. However, 1/2" rebar is a way overkill and won't have a spike head to actually hold down the edging strip.

I built a 5'x8' patio extension and edged it with standard brick installed vertically, after which I used the ProFlex Edging with Dimex spike kit to secure it. Once the turf was laid over it, the finished job was excellent and the edging tightly secured the brick surround.

Great for landscaping as well as race cars!
Recently needed to replace my front splitter (the big surf board looking thing protruding from the front of my car) and thus needed to replace the airdam i had made before from inferior materials. When i saw this material at home depot i wasn't sure what to think, but after buying and preparing it to be mounted on the car i realized just how strong it is. Pretty sure this is gonna have no problems dealing with 120mph + turns at Auto Club Speedway Fontana or Willow Springs International Raceway

Easy enough to cut to exact size and install using ProFlex spikes (sold separately). Couldn't give all five stars because of high price - and my project was small (only three 6-ft lengths). Not sure why they're expensive when they're covered with eventually covered with dirt! Metal spikes (available in the hardware aisle) are a cost effective substitute for ProFlex spikes. I used a combination of metal spikes (sold individually) and ProFlex spikes (sold in packs of 8) so I would have exactly the minimum recommended quantity.

I was redoing a brick paving and the edging I used were held down with metal nails and they were rusted and could not be removed. I saw these in Home Depot website and liked the look of them compared to the edging that comes in rolls. I like these as they are straight and quite rigid. They can be bent round corners by cutting the links. The stakes that were recommended are plastic nails about 8 inches long and the combination made my finished paving look great.

Worked very well for the about 5000 pavers I placed on a home project. Strong enough to hold pavers in place. Will need extra spikes if you do any cutting to have enough to hold smaller pieces firm.
