Tree Surrounds
I used the E-Z EDGE 24 FT. ALUMINUM LANDSCAPE EDGING for tree surrounds to keep chips contained. Very good quality. I liked that they won't rust. They went together well, bent well, but can be a bit challenging. The ends slide together on small grooves and can be a bit difficult to join when used in a circle configuration. I slid the ends together while straight and found the end most difficult to join. I then cut to length removing the difficult end using a powered chop saw with a carbide blade, they are aluminum so this works without dulling the carbide blade. Wear face shield!! Then clean groove with utility knife. If you cut using other methods you may find it more difficult to join the cut ends. After cutting get the ends to slide together while straight, this should make it easier to connect when bent. Tip - they seemed to slide together better if wet. But your hands are a little slippery too. Good Luck

Nice product, multiple uses for sod and gravel.
Product was easy to assemble and went down with no problems. It is probably best to install when the ground is damp and soft if you want to get the edging below grade. Not really a con, but the edging might be difficult to assemble if bent. The pieces go right together if there are no dents in the edging. Should be durable. Bought a second set for another project.

Good Value
This product is well made. The edging comes in five foot boxes, so the user does not have to fight straightening out a coil. I struggled at first with sliding the edging together, but once I connected a few, the job became much easier. Since the pieces interconnect by sliding together, you are going to lose maybe 6 inches or so per piece. Calculate that lose so that you don't end short on the material. Aluminum is clearly superior to plastic, and the green color that I chose, looks good in the landscape. Aluminum is more expensive to purchase, but for durability and general appearance, I recommend using this edging.

Easy to install
This edging was easy to install and and fair price. The stakes could be designed a little better at the top. They don't lay flush against the edging, so you have to hide them. They just look like big nail heads sticking out and they do not match the color of the railing.
