CAN THIS FIXTURE BE INSTALLED IN A BATHROOM?
Asked by JANE July 18, 2012The product itself is UL listed for use in damp locations, such as a bathroom, but your local building code likely has restrictions on the placement of electrical fixtures with respect to water sources (sinks, showers, tubs, etc.). At a minimum, the fixture should be installed on a circuit with GFCI protection, but you should check with your local building code to determine what is allowed. A professional electrician in your area can provide this service.
Can it go flush to the ceiling? If it can what is length of the light w/out the chain

can I use led bulbs
Asked by maudie December 30, 2015Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. You can install CFL/LED lamps as long as the equivalent rating does not exceed the original maximum wattage. Please pay careful attention to the bulb manufacturer’s warning/caution statements on the packaging or printed on the lamp. For example, many CFL’s will indicate on the packaging that they cannot be used in an enclosed fixture or used with a dimmer. Thanks!
