How long is the hanging chain ? I have 10’ ceilings so I need at least 40” of chain.

AnswerHello Max, The Gulliver Collection 3-Light Semi-Flush Convertible is supplied with 3 feet of chain and 10 feet of wire. What is supplied with the fixture would be expected to meet the provided specifications, but we do offer additional 10 foot sections of chain compatible with this fixture that can be purchased under model number P8757-143 if additional chain is needed. AnswerThe fixture is not that heavy if you remove the surround piece (the faux wood circles are held up with 3 screws. It took about 30 minutes to install this way.

The light itself looks as advertised once it was installed. It’s a tad bigger, and heavier then I originally expected, but the itructions were atrocious! The most difficult part didn’t have anything to do with the actual electrical work involved. That was easy. Figuring out which parts were for a flush hang as opposed to a chain hang were a nightmare. Nothing was labeled, and you essentially have to figure out which parts you need to toss aside, and which parts you need to use. Then... once you think you MIGHT have that figured out... you have to then try to decipher which parts go where and how. NIGHTMARE!!! Once it’s done it looks good, but in all honesty... is it/was it worth the trouble and pain of navigating through HORRIFIC instructions? I’m not sure. If you’re not handy... this is not the light for you.

The directions are difficult to understand. Also, I would suggest connecting all of the wires first, the push them up into the socket before screwing the support bracket/base into place. This will make it easier to put the fixture up and no have to deal with the wiring when trying to align the screws to fasten the light fixture to the ceiling.
