It is important to note that this fixture is listed as incandescent and if you use incandescent bulbs you could use a standard incandescent dimmer switch. If you would like to use CFL/LED bulbs you would need to purchase CFL/LED dimmable bulbs (ensure the bulbs do not exceed the maximum equivalent wattage) and use a dimmer switch that is compatible with the bulb manufactures bulb (you can contact the bulb manufacturer for compatible dimmer switches).
