Will this light come on only at dusk and shut off at dawn?

AnswersThis post lamp does not have a built-in electric sensor to make it come on at dusk and shut off at dawn. I have a sensor (if that's what it is called) on the front of my house adjacent to the post lamp that controls the on at dusk and the off at dawn. I hope this answers your question.

I searched many, many post lamps looking for one the appropriate size, and more importantly, a post lamp with a door that opened in the front for easy changing of bulbs. This was the only one I could find with a door opening in the front. It has been installed now for about two weeks and seems to be a very nice lamp, although it is way overpriced. However, it is a little smaller than my old brass one but it will work just fine and I'm happy to have a lamp post that I can access and easily change the bulb.
