30 in. 600 CFM Under Cabinet Range Hood with Light in Stainless Steel

The hood is very nice but a bit noisy. However, it is only 5 inches thick which was important to maintain enough distance from the stove top in my replacement job. The instructions that come with it are worthless, I called and was told it was geared towards contractors who don't need instructions. It weighs 25 lbs. and to install it myself, I used a hydraulic car jack to maneuver and hold it in place while I screwed it into the above cabinet. Overall, I am quite pleased with it.

I recommend this product with caution. The design is very nice and the buttons are great. The lights are bright and the fan is strong but not super loud. Comes with a standard outlet plug. I highly recommend two people to install it because of the terrible mounting system. You have to rely on locating four screws just right otherwise it won't go on. Instead, I recommend that one person holds it in place while the other person installs fresh screws. Furthermore, there is no mounting bracket so finding a spot to put a screw in the back of the unit into a stud is almost not possible. Suggestions for improved design: 1. Mounting bracket for wall 2. Template for screws into overhead cabinet 3. Template to align said mounting bracket to rear or top vent cutout 4. Holes on left and right side of unit for plug (currently only on left side)

So far, it's the best range hood I've ever owned!

Have owned this for ~ 3+ years. Pros: Build quality, installation (2 people), moves air, well-packaged, machine washable Cons: Greater fan noise, Replacement LED Lamps not available. MFG Website does not have them listed, need to call customer service.

We were trying not to completely remodel the kitchen, just update it with new appliances and paint. This range hood fit where the old one was with very little effort. It has a very long power cord if a person needs it. We didn’t. We had it installed in about an hour and boy what an upgrade! It really moves the air!! We love it’s performance and we love the semi professional look with the baffles.

Best performance and quality for the price!

It is a vast improvement over our builder grade range hood. It has dual fans and is rated at a much higher CFM than what it replaced. That said, it does not draw quite as well as I had expected, but that may be an issue with my exhaust duct. It has a bias toward the rear of the hood. The dual lights are quite bright, but have only one setting. It isn’t a problem, but we’ll never leave them on in lieu of our under cabinet lights. The fan is more powerful, but quieter than our old fan. It is loud, but in an industrial way, not a cheap, hollow way. The push buttons require a push of the power button to activate them before selecting a fan speed. To turn off the fan, the power button must be pressed twice. The exhaust grates are much heavier duty and are not mesh type grates/filters. They are easy to remove and reinstall. One thing to note is that this is a 30” hood, but it is truly 29 9/16” wide. It leaves more of a gap between my 30” spaced cabinets, but it isn’t a deal breaker. I’m noting it in case you desire a fully flush fit from side to side. We are very happy with the upgrade to this range hood and would buy it again if we had it to do over.

I bought this unit as it has a high CFM rating, and is the most compact of anything close to that CFM rating, great for an install with a lower cabinet height. It looks good and the lighting is also good. We are often frying with multiple burners on the stove top. It was installed with 6" smooth ductwork, one 90 and a total of 7' foot of ducting. There is a damper on my cap, and it it is opening properly. While I don't have anything to compare it to, I'm not impressed with the exhaust power of this unit given the CFM rating. The ratings on all range hoods are for the blower units alone. It would be interesting if these units were tested and reviewed independently. This may be the best unit in a more compact design. I was hoping for a little more power.

This range hood works great with our new gas range top. The lights are very bright, and the fan does a great job.
