If you planting in pot, you should buy extra soil for planters and fill it. If plating directly on the grass I think you should be ok. Mine is in a pot inside the house and looks good (bought it a couple of weeks ago only)
Is the 54 inch measured from bottom of pot?
15-30 C. If you notice brown tips on the leaves, that means humidity levels are a little low. You can either mist the plants twice a week or get a humidifier.
The plant was was damaged # was not green it was gray # very disappointed
12" would be ideal. That worked perfectly for me..
About 4-5 ft tall. Cut trunk will not grow taller but leafy shoots will. A third trunk varies.
My plant was damaged while shipping.
Yes, you'll need a planter with a tray (at least a 1ft in diameter) & potting soil. If your planter does not drain (so no tray) you will also need about 2 inches of rocks for the bottom of the planter.
Good afternoon Gmaze, The Mass Cane is a little temperamental plant when it comes to watering and light. We suggest keeping the soil moist but not oversaturated or overwatered, just enough so it is not dry and place it by a window away from the vent. The yellowing of the leaves might be an indication that the soil dried out too much. Hope this helps, Pure Beauty Farms.
Hello Mikey: The Dracaena Mass Cane Plant does not produce edible corn. It is called the corn plant because it looks similar to an actual corn plant. They should be planted about 3 feet apart. Thank you! -Pure Beaty Farms
