How does this bag incorporate your tree stand that holds water, which is not disposable?

Before you put the tree up, place the bottom of the bag on the floor where the tree will go. Place the stand on the bag, then place the tree in the stand, tighten the supports, and add water. The bag will also help prevent water spills from getting to the floor. After Christmas, dip out as much water as you can from the stand. Loosen the stand, then pick the tree straight up while someone else carefully slides the stand (with water) out of the bag area. Lower the bottom of the tree directly onto the bag, then pull the bag up over the tree. Carry the bagged tree outside and dispose of any water in the stand separately.

The product overview and the picture of the bag indicate the bag is 144 inches in circumference, not diameter. 144 inches in circumference translates to about 46 inches (about 3.8 feet) in diameter. Measuring circumference of a tree is difficult, so use the diameter. Dividing circumference by pi (3.14) will give you diameter.
