Your product wasn’t what it shows online in pictures… I ended up hiring someone to design and weld something different for me!
If I could return the item, I would, unfortunately the box got wet.

This kit looks nice but it's functionality is lacking. Also...
This kit looks nice but it's functionality is lacking. Also the guides are weak and the whole kit started rusting after only 2 weeks. I had to beef up the entire kit with heavy duty rollers and casters as well as an end gate caster as it falls out of the top guide and I to the groud due to the design. Absolutely would recommend not buying this kit.

Was very difficult to understand directions, the wood you use...
Was very difficult to understand directions, the wood you use needs to be dry from pressure treated as the corner brackets are to small to go over 2x4 when still wet. When ordering be sure to measure your opening as kit can only go up to 66 inches .

Gate was what the customer picked out. Directions were pretty easy to follow just note that the max opening is 48”. Only been up for a month so not sure how the longevity of it will be. Homeowner was happy with install

This gate works as intended.
There is no problems with the gate hardware and will work perfectly fine as long as you have the brains to understand you can't put a triangle in the circle cut out.

Horrible in Many Ways
This product was not well designed or thought out before placing on the market. First off, redwood 2x4s are too thick to fit inside the corner brackets. It wasn't until I had cut and painted my 2x4s that I realized this problem, so I had to go get nominal surfaced 2x4s to fit, and even then I still had to sand down the surfaces to get them to fit. Second, the system is not wide enough for redwood boards facing the street. It was so tight that it got jammed trying to open it, forcing me to install the boards on the other side, facing the back yard, leaving the unsightly part of the corner brackets exposed to the street. Third, the support wheel at the bottom is plastic and feels flimsy, and seems like it will not last. Fourth, the instructions say you can have a maximum opening of 60 inches. I made ours 59 inches, but there is not enough railing to open the gate all the way, so it remains sticking out about 18 inches when open. What is the point of making a 60 inch opening, with the heavier gate required for this, if it can't open the full 60 inches??? Finally, at 83 inches wide, which is the required size for a 60 inch opening, the gate begins to tilt when closing it, causing the back ball bearings to rise off the track, making it difficult to close. The gate does not glide, you have to hoist it up to get it to move all the way closed. This product is absolutely awful in every way.

First,this product is meant to be used with nominal 2x4 ( 1.5" x 3.5" ). Second again as mentionned this system is for pressure treaded wood or any other wood that is nominal 2x4. ( 1.5" x 3.5" real size ). This is also design to have 1/2" pressure treaded boards inside, if the wood is thicker the bracket won't fit obviously. Third, wheel is made of hard rubber and will last as it has been design to withstand Canadian weather. Fourth, you probably had the first version where it had an mistake as the maximum is 48" wide not 60", you are right on this point. The last point I don't understand as the ball bearing are enclosed in an "U" shaped track.
