What material is the mixer coated?

By using it a few times, and that it have not formed any rust on it, I would believe the entire thing is made from stainless steal. When using it, make sure you use a hammer drill or something strong. It will burn out the motor of a regular drill.

It takes a lot of torque so it would probably wear the battery pretty quickly.

It is steel but hasn't rusted so if you clean it each time, I would use it for food.

I think you will know which is best depending on the product you are using it for. At high RPMs I noticed it would throw materials out of the bucket, so you may need to "feather" the trigger while mixing.

I need a longer pro mixer about 40" are so?

Not sure this would be sturdy enough if it was any longer. This is a great length. I'm 5'6" tall perfect with my 1/2". When I tried to mix about half of a 50 pound bag at once I had to go slowly. The shaft has some flex when you're trying to mix thick, heavy batches

I purchased the mixer for mortar and grout on a bathroom remodel I'm doing. The mixer works great, but I found out quickly that you should also purchase a strong hammer drill or something similar or you will burn out your drill. So far I have not noticed rust or anything on the blades after cleaning. It's a great necessity for many projects.

I used this paddle to mix small batches of CBP Flexbond mortar, using a rigid 2.5-gallon plastic pail, and a Milwaukee 0234-1 Hole-Shooter electric drill, with a 1/2-inch chuck. The drill is variable speed, 0-850 RPM. I taped the pail at the bottom for better grip, and held it between my feet. This combination worked well. My first batch was 3.75 lbs. The drill got only a little warm. My second batch was 5 lbs, and it seemed thicker. The drill was definitely loaded, and got very warm, but not hot, and it still mixed well. The shape of the paddle seems to be effective. Cleanup was easy enough. So far the finish has held up. It did the job. I like it.

Mix it up
Does a great job of getting everything mixed up. I've used this with paint, grout, tile mastic, and self leveling concrete thus far. Works really well especially with the more viscous materials. With the thinner liquids like paint you really need to be conscious of your speed or your going to make a huge mess. Overall very pleased with the performance and quality.

A perfect mix!
This mixer works well inside a 5 gallon bucket. I used this with a ½” Dewalt hammer drill and it worked well, although it did seem to drive the drills motor pretty hard. The use case I used this mixer with was for mixing up mortar. Honestly, I’ve never mixed mortar so well or so quickly. You’ve got to start off slow and work in the water from the top and then move lower and ultimately out to the sides of the bucket to get the material all mixed in. But once everything is wet, you can really kick up the speed and drop the mixer to the bottom of the bucket. It’ll spin all the material through the agitator and really cycle it through until it is smooth and very well mixed. It only takes a few seconds of mixing to get it really smooth. This mixer cleans up really well too with a standard garden hose and sprayer head. This thing is sturdy too and very well made. Great mixer, highly recommended!
