NEVER BEEN SO GLAD A PRODUCT WORKED AS PROMISED
Lifted a 3' x 5' mirror off the out of the track and off wall with a pair of these, terrified the whole time it would slip, the whole time thinking about how I would dodge slivers of shattering glass. They worked like a champ, neither one slipping even a fraction of an inch. Afterwards, being silly, my daughter and I stuck them together and had a tug-of-war. We ultimately ended up pulling pretty much full strength (she's late-teen, so basically adult-sized) and they did not pull apart. Money very well spent.

This worked great for me but I was not using it for tile..I need to find a means for employees to slide open an outside facing window for document and information exchanges without coming into our batch office. For the outside portion of the window I tightly wrapped the two handles together with electrical tape, mostly to prevent casual theft, and it has been rock solid. On the interior side of the window we wanted to install daily and remove at end of work shift, (hence no taping) but had some issues with it suddenly falling off the window giving us quite a start. So now we just roll the blinds down over the handles and it's working fine. Know this is not what designed for, and when using to move tile one would certainly have the handles clasped, but thought you may find another use interesting.

I used this to grip the planks of my bamboo flooring which had opened up in a few places (ends). By using this tool, I was able to bump the planks back into place. This works great as long as your flooring has a relatively smooth surface and the planks are 5" wide or more.

This 4-7/8 in. Suction Cup helped me to fix a dent on my car. I saw so many videos on YouTube they were fixing dents on the bumpers and doors with these things and i wanted to give it a try. I was not so happy with the result but it provided good suction even on the bent door. The rubber is pretty rough if it was little softer it would provide excellent result.

This product worked pretty good as is. It worked even better when a hole was drilled in the top to allow air to escape and enter on the back side of the seal. End even better when lithium grease was applied to the cam intersection of plastic to metal. I love the set I have now and you can't complain about the price. I would give it an Excellent rating if the modifications I did were done at the factory.

      Upgrading a 2009 iMac
I didn't get these for their intended purpose; I got them to get the glass cover off the screen of my 2009 iMac to facilitate disassembly for an upgrade. Well I'm typing this review on the newly upgraded machine (RAM from 2 GB to 8 GB, 320 GB hard drive replaced with 275 GB SSD, optical drive replaced with 1.5 TB hard drive) so obviously it worked like a charm. The only issues we had were unrelated to the suction cups; ironically we ended up back at Home Depot buying screwdrivers we needed to open other parts of the machine... :) We were satisfied with those, too, BTW. ;)

      Terrific tool
I am using this Brutus Suction cup to lay ceramic tiles in the family room. It works perfectly. The cup holds until you release it. It is extremely helpful and can be used to pick up and carry other items like glass etc. . I will be using this tool for many years to come,

Bought this to pull off a magnetized vertical 12x12” travertine access panel. Wouldn’t work. Does work if the tile is on the floor though.
