Level, align, space and hold tile in place to prevent lippage, ensure a consistent finish and correct tile bowing. The flat clips, part A of a two part system, grant even grout lines and raise neighboring tile of the same thickness for a level finish. The wedges, part B, hold the tile at an even height for lippage-free results (sold separately). The QEP LASH clip and wedge system is used by professional and DIY installers alike to save time while providing a level and consistently spaced wall or floor. For quick and easy removal, clips are designed to break off below the surface of the tile.

DONT USE THESE SPACERS! breaks tike
Switched from another leveling system Used to build a master shower. Hitting them out causes major tile damage. Would be okay for floors but DO NOT USE ON VERTICLE TILE

The QEP LASH flat clips are designed for use on floor and wall installations that require a thinner thinset bed. Once the thinset is cured, simply hit the clips with a mallet for removal. -Alexis, Customer Care

These things make tiling alot easier for someone with little experience. I was putting up 12x24 tiles for a tub surround. If you are doing the project in stages, just remember to put the clips in the last row before you stop for the night, once the mortar dries, you can't get the clips in. You still need a straight edge to make sure you are getting the tiles set right, but these will get the tiles very close to where they need to be and hold them there.
I was taking with an associate in the flooring department at my local home depot and she highly recommended this system, and I am very glad she did!

So so but has it's set backs.
I'm a professional tile layer and decided to use these in two small baths. The 1st bath looked good but when I went to grout I had three tiles I had to pull up and re-set. The second bath I back buttered every tile and they worked pretty good. The bad part with these is the spacers dont break even and you're left cutting them out of grout lines. I plan on using again. These are not end all be all. They will level grout lines but you still need to be able have your tile somewhat level
If you're a homeowner trying to do your own floor these will help but I'd back butter ever tile
