The QEP Wet Tile Saw is ideal on job sites where space prohibits the use of a large wet saw. The 3/5 HP, high-torque motor and included 4 in. continuous rim diamond blade cuts through unlimited sizes of ceramic, marble, slate and stone tile up to 3/4 in. thick. This tile saw even cuts mosaic tile and backsplash tile for DIY projects. The water system not only reduces water runoff, it recycles the water back into the reservoir, minimizing refill frequencies. This dependable wet saw includes dual extension tables to support larger tiles and a hinged cutting table for miter cuts. A 4 in. blade with a 5/8 in. arbor is required. For cutting porcelain and hard tiles, we recommend using the QEP Black Widow Blade, sold separately.

Don't expect it to last long
I've purchased two of these for tile projects. It does okay on ceramic and porcelain, but it chips heavily at the site of the cut, even with a brand new blade. They also burn out easy. For some reason, both died soon after I switched the blade. Maybe I'm over-tightening or maybe they only tend to live through 20 cuts. Either way, for what I've spent on these I could have purchased a better saw. This machine is fine if you just have one project and will never tile again. Otherwise, buy better.

        Noisy little thing
Small, noisy, kinda flimsy guide rail, but I was able to get the job done after a little practice and precautions and got the right blade for porcelain.

Does what it says it will do. Used it for peel and stick travertine tile. Used Miter saw table and clamps to hold in place because it’s very light weight and it will move and ruin your cut. Once held in place you can make very straight cuts. Had to refill water tray a few times but not too many. Was able to re-tile entire fire place. Great little wet saw for the price. Would definitely recommend.

          great saw, terrible manual
I bought this saw to do the backsplash in my kitchen, a pretty small job. We had planned to rent a wet saw for a couple of days but in retrospect are really glad we bought this saw instead - it is roughly the same price as a one-day rental, it allowed us to do the job at our own (slow!) pace, it did a great job and we own it in case we lose our minds and decide to do more tiling in the future. ;) It is a 4" blade, not 3 1/4" as stated elsewhere in these reviews. After the roughly 100 cuts needed for our job it was still cutting fine but it would be no problem to add a new blade when necessary. Regarding the awful manual, If you have ever used a wet saw before, using this one will be no problem. We, however, have used lots of different kinds of saws but never a wet saw, and the manual was absolutely zero help when it came to assembling this one. The text regarding setting up the blade guard only made sense in retrospect (thank you UTube), the 'illustrative' photos were black blodges, there was literally no mention of where to put the water(!), the location of the overflow port (which becomes obvious immediately after you add the water) and so on. If you are new to wet saws do yourself a favor, visit a rental place and learn how to set it up. Then buy this one and use it!

Great price and worked perfectly on 7” tile and 24” ceramic tile, had to buy the upgrade blade for larger tiles but were thrilled with results.

Bought this saw to do my kitchen with 30 sq ft of ceramic mosaic tile, since the price of the saw is the same as one day of wet saw rental. The blade did not leave the front of the tile edges perfectly smooth regardless if the tiles were cut face-up or face-down. Using a diamond tile hand file on the edges helped. Install cut tiles with rough edges furthest from view (on bottom and inside) and any roughness can be hidden by grout/caulk. I likely made 100+ cuts and the blade was worn by job's end, not unreasonable. The saw is all plastic except for the motor and blade. It was designed for diy and performed very well. I would buy it again but, oh yeah, I don't have to. Will only need to change the blade if I ever need it again.

My first Wet Saw for tile.
This small tile cutter was just what I needed to learn how to do tile. It is perfect for small jobs and easy to take to a rehab site. Cuts beautifully. Thank you.

            Excellent So Far !
I got this saw to cut glass, I installed the RIDGID 4 in. Glass Tile Blade (which HD sells as well), & it made quick work of cutting the bottles I have cut so far. My technique is to SLOWLY feed the bottle to the blade and keep rotating the bottle around and around with slight forward pressure, until it cuts all the way through it. MAKE SURE you have EYE PROTECTION !!!!!!!, I wear safety glasses under a clear face shield as well as an apron, cause water flies everywhere!..... be SAFE and go SLOW & the cut comes out pretty good!!!... you will still need to sand down the sharpness of the glass that the cut leaves, which I do by hand with wet Silicon-Carbide Sandpaper.......anyway, so far I am very happy with this saw, it has performed well with no issues, & the price was right for my budget ! :)
