Our Furniture Safety Strap can certainly help fasten your bunk bed. Depending on the weight of the bed plus the included weight of potential occupancy you might need to purchase two sets of straps (one set of straps is recommended for 500 pounds or lighter). If there are two separate sections to the bed, for example if the top bunk is a separate piece and simply sits on the bottom bunk, you will need to fasten each separate piece of furniture to the wall using these straps. If you feel the adhesive mounting method is not enough for your bunk bed, we also include furniture screws when extra piece of mind is needed. Please follow all included instructions when installing the straps.
Nothing else is needed. Simple install. Safe
The straps are on both the wall and the unit attached to. To clean you would have to unscrew from cabinet or wall which is easier. This will disconnect the cabinet and will need to be redone to secure unit back on wall.

Our QuakeHOLD! Furniture Safety Straps include two safety straps which is enough to properly secure one piece of heavy furniture.
If your washer / dryer are two separated units, they will first need to be joined together or each unit will need it's own fastening strap solution. We would not suggest using our QuakeHOLD! Office File Cabinet Strap as it's max holding strength is 325 lbs. Either the Big Screen / Appliance Safety Strap or Furniture Safety Straps will work. Both straps require a little bit of slack between the wall and the unit being secured, if you are worried about length we would suggest using the Big Screen / Appliance Safety Strap as it's 48 inches long. The furniture strap, although might match your color better, is only 15 inches long. Please keep in mind both of the straps will require the end to be drilled into a wall stud, take caution when drilling near your plumbing.
The extra slack is intended for earthquake safety. During an earthquake event, the house / wall will begin shaking and if the straps are holding the piece of furniture tightly, the furniture will begin to shake with the wall. Allowing extra slack lets the wall shake independently and not the furniture, but still lets the strap do it's job of the shaking is enough to tip the furniture. If you are not in a earthquake region and are using the furniture straps to prevent tipping from a child climbing it, you can secure the strap tightly without slack. Thank you for reaching out.
Yes. Though I must say that the adhesive is pretty seriously strong.
Yes, our QuakeHOLD! Furniture Straps include 2 straps intended to be used for one piece of furniture.
Our QuakeHOLD! Furniture Safety Straps are 15" in length, you should have plenty of strap to allow for a 3" gap. Just ensure the strap is placed for enough on the book case to where it would become taught as the furniture begins to tip forward. Don't leave too much slack.
