Hi Drew, this is a solvent reaction known as wrinkling, and can be caused by recoating outside the recoat time of within 1 hour, or after 24 hours. Sanding just prior to applying the next coat will also cause wrinkling to occur, and we recommend waiting 24 hours after sanding the surface to prevent a reoccurrence. To prevent wrinkling, either apply multiple coats 10-15 minutes apart (within 1 hour of one another), or wait 24 hours between coats.
