Deck brush or cat groomer? Lol! I wanted a cat self groomer that was not ugly and plastic. This brush has a nice natural wood tone. I fastened it to the wall with Command Strips. I hid treats in the bristles until the cats learned to use it. I have had many compliments on it from other cat lovers. It works great as a groomer! It is very affordable. I have never scrubbed anything with it, but I’m sure it would also serve that purpose!

This is a perfect brush for preparing a wooden deck for re-sealing and makes the task of brightening the deck planks so much easier.
We have a redwood deck and every couple of years, we have to re-seal it with stain/waterproofer before the winter as the Southern California sun really beats up the stain/waterproofer in most exposed areas.
This normally entails pressure washing the deck planks and then brightening them with a combination of 1 cup of Oxyclean and 1 gallon of water using a pump sprayer. After letting the home made wood brightening sit on the planks for a few minutes, it needs to be scrubbed with a stiff brush.
This brush worked perfectly for this job. We were able to use one of our paint roller extension poles as a screw in handle which makes the job so much easier than kneeling down with a hand brush. The handle is easy to unscrew when you have areas like the deck handrail to clean too.
