7-Day Smart Home Floor Heating Thermostat w/Floor Sensor

We have always wanted a heated floor in our bathroom and have finally made that happen. This thermostat looks nice on the wall and blends in well with the aesthetics of our bathroom. We don't have a google or alexa but this thermostat is easily controlled from my phone. The thermostat shows both the floor temp and the temp of the bathroom air, which is handy.

I ordered the QuietWarmth 7-day smart home floor heating thermostat with floor sensor. It is a touch sensing thermostat with a floor sensor and WiFi connectivity. It also integrates with smart phones and smart home automation controls. In the Auto mode it has up to 4 settings per day and each day can have different programs. In the Manual setting it holds the temperature steady. In vacation setting it maintains the minimum setting for long absence. Supply voltage power supply is 120-240VAC 50/60 Hz. Temperature range is +41 F to +104 F. Programming is protected against a power failure.

I am putting new tile in my larger guest bathroom and I already had the Quietwarmth floor warmer. I chose this QuietWarmth thermostat because it was not only a match to the flooring warmer, but also had the ability to be controlled via the "Warmme" cell phone app and or my Alexa (also works with Google Smart Home). Most everything in my home is "smart" so this is perfect for my needs. I have similar floor heating set up in my master bath and I love that the tile is always warm during the cold winter months. This QuietWarmth thermostat can be programmed up to 4 different settings per day and you can program different settings for each day of the week. Temperature range is 41F to 104F degrees. I love having heated floors in my tiled bathrooms and the floor heating also warms the ambient air in the room! Very happy!

The QuietWarmth 7-Day Smart Home Floor Heating Thermostat w/Floor Sensor is designed to use with Quietwarmth underlayment heating applications. This 7-Day Programmable Thermostat makes it easy to adjust the temperature in your heated floor. Not only can you program for 7 days, but you can make up to 4 temperature events per day. It has a floor sensor for accurate temperatures, and a built-in ground fault circuit that disconnects the power if needed. It can be set to Fahrenheit or Celsius and can use 120 volt or 240-volt radiant floor heating systems. It says it's compatible with smart home systems like Alexa, but I haven't done that; since it's not necessary for how I'm using it. Works well.

A few years ago, I installed electric radiant heating in my bathroom floor. At first, I was turning it Off/On, via a light switch, based on me showering. Problems were, I had to plan ahead, because it took 30 minutes to warm up, and many times I would forget to turn it Off, which caused issues with the flooring. So, I installed QuietWarmth's Non-Programable Thermostat (206100663). It was a big improvement, but as I wrote in my review, "If you want something that heats the same temperature 24/7, this is a great choice. If you want something that turns off at night, to save on heating bills, the programmable one is a better choice." My entire house is Smart. So, when I got an opportunity to try QuietWarmth's new Programmable Smart Thermostat, I was excited for the convenience and energy savings! First off, it looks much better. It is nice to have a larger screen; vs mostly a white box (see pic). It only works with 2.4ghz. After downloading the WarmMe App, it added easily. I then added the Skill to Alexa and now it is voice controlled. I need to add a Routine to turn it Off after 40 minutes, and I am all set. Only negative, their website claims, "Remembers settings after power outages". I decided to test that, and most of the time it does, but occasionally resets Temp to 78. They need to fix that via Firmware or send a Notification when power is lost (I have notifications turned On, but did not receive any when I turned Off the power; the App does shows it has reset to 78. You can then change it back to what you want). I gave the old one 4 Star. The added features, sleek looks and energy savings of this one, for about the same price, definitely adds a Star!

If you fail to attach the Wifi in the first try, you must use the up and down triangles pressed at the same time to access the F1 and/or F2 menu. if it doesn't work first try, replace fingers on the triangles till you see the F1. this is not in the manual. Factory reset does not reset wifi. I had to call MP Global at 888-379-9695 and Chase was able to help me.

Replacing this thermostat after only having it for a month. It will not connect to wifi. Additionally, if the thermostat is "off" when power goes out it automatically resets to "on" at 78 degrees when the power comes back on. Don't buy this one.

Correctly controls the heated floor mats. I wasn't able to make WiFi work, though. The "wifi" symbol, which had initially showed on the screen disappeared and there are no instructions to explain what to do about it. The iPhone App (Warmme), has literally 2 reviews in the AppStore and doesn't provide any help when it's unable to find a thermostat. The thermostat itself is losing its settings sometimes. I like that it shows the usage statistics, and that it has two pre-sets: "office" and "home" - I've found it useful in my home office, where I basically use two modes - "at work", "out of office" - no sophisticated schedule, which is available for "home" pre-set. Overall, with this price point, lack of instructions, poor App experience, I'm not impressed.

Heats floor as expected. GFCI works as expected.
