By adding Rid-X to the septic system every month along with occasional pumping, you can help prolong the life of your septic system. Rid-X Powder should only be dispensed in a toilet. Rid-X liquid, when used regularly, can help break down organic build-up in your pipes to help prevent clogs before they happen. However, Rid-X is not formulated as an immediate remedy for clogged drains.
