The RIDGELINE 52 cc 20 in. Gasoline Chain Saw has adjustable Auto Chain Oiler and easy chain adjustment. It offers a quick stop chain brake system with anti-kick back chain and an effective anti-vibration design. This chainsaw's engine gives lower emissions and increased power and reduced fuel consumption plus has a modern and professional design.
Ridgeline 20 in. 52cc gas chainsaw cut down a large 41 foot evergreen tree. Buyer Beware - chainsaw storage case and blade cover does not properly fit 20 in. to store chainsaw safely. The blade cover is too short and will not lock into place within the storage box, so blade cover will slide. Contacted Ridgeline for a solution to this problem. Very disappointed with the response I have received so far from Ridgeline since company acknowledged that the cover is too short for the 20 in chainsaw.

Plenty of Power!
We live on an acreage with old trees and we're in near-constant need of a capable chainsaw. This model includes a 52 cc engine to provide plenty of power and a 20-inch bar that handles most jobs- at a price point that pays out with the first job! The tool seems to be good quality and has the added benefit of a well-designed heavy-duty plastic case that’s large enough to keep everything in one place, including small containers of fuel and oil.
Assembly is simple- just attach the included 20-inch bar and chain. We gassed up with a 40:1 mix and added chain oil (not included). Adjusting a screw (screwdriver included) regulates oil flow to the chain. A multi-tool is included for spark plug and chain tensioning; a round file is included for sharpening the chain. There’s a front hand guard/ chain brake lever that works well.
Check out the descriptive “Use and Care Manual” on Home Depot’s website (although it’s awkwardly written, the diagrams are useful). Comes with a one-year limited manufacturer’s warranty on replacement parts.
I got this chainsaw because I am about to buy some property with a lot of trees and in a hurricane area. So being prepared is a must. I do have a couple of smaller project where I live now so I was able to try it out. Assembly was easy and it started up easy. I think large parts of the instruction manual should be re wrote, but instructions were good enough for me to get it together. The stump I removed today was to much for my electric chainsaw, but this one ate straight through it.
The RIDGELINE 52 cc 20 in. Gasoline Chain Saw
I had it a few days ago. Very nice powerful chainsaw. It was heavy for me to handle it up high but fine on lower above ground level for me as a lady. It was nice to know that The RIDGELINE 52 cc 20 in. Gasoline Chain Saw had an adjustable Auto Chain Oiler and easy chain adjustment. It stated that it offered a quick stop chain brake system with anti-kick back chain and an effective anti-vibration design. I used it once to trim my tea olive shrubs among above ground level.
I liked that this chainsaw's engine had lower emissions, increased power and reduced fuel consumption. Plus, it had a modern and professional design looking.
I'm not a professional, or I'd be running a Stihl. So this Ridgeline is pretty useful so far. I've taken down some smaller poplar on the property, 2 willow trees, and it's run pretty well. Starts up easy enough and cuts wood for woodstove great. Chain stretched some but easy to adjust. I haven't cut any hardwood like oak with it yet, and chain is still sharp. While you're at home Depot, get the bar grease injector tool.

Opened and assembled
Didn't get to use it yet.....
Went together easy enough and it runs......
Wrong bar cover for the case. What comes with would fit about 16" bar not the 20" that comes with it.
I'll have to use it before I can go further...
