Doesnt hold up to one days use.
I bought this saw and made one cut on the job ripping some ¼" toekick down. Would only run if the power button was held. Took it back and Home Depot exchanged it without any problems. The new saw required assembly of course. The rip fence broke both plastic spring loaded tabs off the first time I installed it on the saw. Its now practically useless. I will be asking for a full refund tomorrow. The Ridgid R4514 table saw is JUNK compared to its predecessors.

    Really Rigid?
Picked this saw up on 2/16. Brought to jobsite to assemble. All went well until I went to remove the factory blade and replace with a better finish blade. Keep in mind I've worked with table saws for over 30 years so I know which way the wrenches work. The kids at the factory tightened the blade so tight that it flared the spanner wrench so bad it can no longer be used. Also look at the nut. This is BRAND NEW!!! NEVER EVEN TURNED ON. I've now lost a 1/2 day dealing with this only return it and start over.... Do your homework before purchasing.

This table saw is sure to impress any user! While the assembly of the folding table takes some time it is well worth it and incredibly convenient. You can rip materials up to 30 inches wide. It’s very solidly constructed with a powerful motor perfect for cutting any material. It can be folded and stored upright on its stand which makes it perfect for anyone trying to utilize their space. One of the best purchases I’ve made!

      Great saw for the price!
Delivers on all expectations cuts beautifully once set up out of the box, didnt require any additional alignment. The only thing to note is blade was over tightened OOB and the tools deformed and required reshaping with a vice to fix.

Table warped, bevel fails to hold 90
Purchased this thinking it was a quality Rigid product, but that was far from the truth. The table is severely warped with a 1/8” high spot right in the middle, so all four edges drop that much. The table appears to be thin cast aluminum. Bevel drifts too

          Waited for black Friday
Not the hardest to assemble. Folds up nice, to save space. That's one of the reasons I bought this saw.. I changed the blade right away... Put a Diablo 60 tooth in.. It has a lot of nice features on this saw..l Was $550.. Got it for $350 Very happy.

Excellent saw once you understand its quirks
I own a Powermatic cabinet saw, but needed a job site saw for specialty work. I bought the Ridgid because the fence has integral t-track. This allows me to use a power feeder (yes, a power feeder!) easily. I can rip a 13' x8" wide plank with no problem using the power feeder. It's a special power feeder designed to work with smaller machines, like a job site table saw. The fence needs to be adjusted correctly at the rear to lock straight. Adjust the rear nut at the fence lock so the fence can just barely slip over the rear rail. Once that's done the fence will lock at the same adjustment as reliably as an expensive T_square fence. But ...the bolts that hold the fence extrusion in alignment are insufficient to handle the torque that a fence is subjected to in handling, so your reliable fence must be handled like a baby, or toughened up by:... By putting a steel plate , bored for the bolts, like a giant washer, under the bolts (on the bottom of the fence to rail attachment) you can distribute their pressure across a much broader area, and the fence will hold its setting adequately. The insert that comes with the saw is awful. Make your own, or search the web for an excellent after-market version with an anodized aluminum top that takes replaceable wooden inserts. The miter gauge can be vastly improved by a strip of electrical tape on the bar for a tighter fit, and adding an 18"-36" long cross piece bolted on with a T-track for adjustment.

              Nice home hack DIY saw
Not sure how this saw would fare under constant use in a production setting but for home owner DIY use it appears adequate. Used it for a fence build with some gates. Kind of finicky rip fence and the miter doesn't fit snugly in the slot. The miter wiggles a bit. Hard to justify a $100.00 after market miter. I think if I keep the saw I'll build a better miter and cross cut sled. I built a router table insert that fits in the extension wing which is a good use of the space. I don't think I will buy another saw like this without the cart. Honestly the cart is the best thing even if it comes with two right feet. There is no Dado throat plate available so you have to make your own. Fortunately the plate is exactly a half inch thick so its easy to make your own out of plywood, MDF, or other dimensioned stock.
