Can you use a standard 2” brad nail in the R213BNF gun or does it have to be 2-1/8”? 2-1/8” are very difficult to find.

AnswersThis gun shoots multiple lengths of nails ranging from 5/8” to 2 1/8”. I think there are lengths every 1/4 or 1/2”. I’m sure I have 6 or more different lengths.

AnswerRidge tools like my 18 ga. Nailer have a life time warranty from materials and workmanship. If I read the warranty correctly, a tool that is used for several years and stops working from normal wear and tear is not under warranty. Their warranty is not like the old craftsman hand tool warranty that replaced any tool no matter what the problem.

AnswersHello Frank, Thanks for your question on the RIDGID R213BNF 18-Gauge 2-1/8 in. Brad Nailer with CLEAN DRIVE Technology, Tool Bag, and Sample Nails. This is a great product, but may not be your best option for fencing. This gun may allow you to attach but the nails will not provide the support that is needed for a fence. You will need a product that can use a definite nail head or screw. - Eve

This nail gun is amazing for its ease of use. Straight out of the box it is ready to go, set the psi to 70-75, load the nails and you are all set. I ran approx 2400 nails through mine on day one without a single hiccup.

Amateur user. Light weight, easy to use. Air line swivel is very nice. Air adjustment was easy to figure out. Overall, I was very impressed how it handled and made the job quick and easy. I definitely will recommend to others. Thank you for such a great piece of equipment for a fair price. It's a do it yourself delight. My son's desk had completely broken in pieces. I was able to reconnect it and add an extra board on the back for added support. As you can see, he's making good use of it as a computer desk once again.
