Not sure, my came with everything, I've had my for a while now.
Yes - their 18-volt battery works on all models. Their new OCTANE batteries are backwards compatible with their older tools and vice-versa. However, if you are using the legacy battery in an OCTANE tool, you will loose some of the features that the OCTANE system provides.
Hi Riptide, We appreciate your interest in the RIDGID 18-Volt Cordless Brushless 1/4 in. Compact Router with Fixed Base and Tool Free Depth Adjustment R86044B. The spindle diameter is 14mm with a 1.0 thread. I hope this information was helpful and thanks for reaching out to us! - Eve
Yes. I use it to round edges of board routinely. Worked really well on the oak 1x8s I used for some shelves last month. I have not tried any intricate bits like you might use for cabinets, but I suspect it would work fine.
Idk
The opening in which the collet sits is tapered inward, as is the collet itself. The only way I could get a measurement is by measuring the dimensions of the collet. The top end is .429 inches and tapers down to .305 inches. Bear in mind that I am not a machinist, just an amateur handyman. So, my measurements are not absolutely dead accurate; just very, very close. If you're planning on inserting a spindle without using the collet, I don't see that it would work.

Hi Richardfromcali, The compact routers are not designed to use the guide bushings. Thanks for asking.Greg
Hey Billy! Thanks for the question. The main difference between the two versions would be that the brushless would offer better runtime and performance. The noise the two different motors makes is different, but not quieter. Hope this helps!
It includes the square base from the picture and it will also include a round base as well.
