LIGHTWEIGHT; POWERFUL; LONG RUN-TIME
LIGHTWEIGHT; POWERFUL; LONG RUN-TIME — The RIDGID 18V Lithium-Ion MAX Output 4.0 Ah Battery (2-Pack) are a significant upgrade from my previous Ridgid battery. They are two times more powerful with three times the run time compared to the previous battery. I was impressed with how lightweight they are for batteries with this much power. When using one of these batteries with my Ridgid angle grinder, the increased power was apparent immediately. With the long runtime, there was not a problem completing the task. If there had been, having two charged batteries would have provided me with an incredible run time. The batteries took about 90 minutes to charge so when one battery runs out, the second battery could be used while the first one is being recharged. I am looking forward to the power and the long run time when using my new Ridgid framing nailer. The batteries are made in China.

RIDGID 18V Lithium-Ion MAX Output 4.0 Ah Battery (2-Pack) – I recently got some Ridgid cordless tools and wanted some extra batteries. Of course, I had to buy Ridgid batteries for these tools, but that should be expected. From my experience the performance of Ridgid batteries is comparable to other tool brands. Their cases look and feel well made, they charge pretty quickly with a fast charger and they last about what I expect a 4.0 Ah battery to last in a drill or impact driver regardless of the brand. Ridgid batteries, like other brands include fuel gauges that indicate the power level.
The big selling point for Ridgid tools and batteries, after performance, is the Ridgid Lifetime Service Agreement.

This 2 pack set of 4.0 ah lithium ion Max output batteries are much more advanced than the older line on batteries! Couldn't believe the difference until I tried them. They are compatable with all other 18 volt Ridgid tools and chargers. When I do jobs, either
around the house or away, I need batteries that will last! That's why 2 of these are perfect!
Highly recommend for DIY or professionals.

This batteries are an exact replacement for the batteries that came with my Rigid 18V tools. Whilst cosmetically they are slightly different (please see my video for a description of these differences) they are functionally identical, This is a value pack, and comes with two batteries in a blister pack Four LED indicators read out the charge level when pressed, and display the charging status when they are in the charger.
I had some 1/4 inch concrete anchors to place in concrete and these extra batteries meant I could complete the whole job without needed to recharge a battery mid job.

I got these batteries to power my ½” 18v impact wrench. I have several pieces of equipment that require lots of power and torque to remove rusted nuts and bolts. These 4.0 Ah batteries have more power and last much longer than the 2.0 Ah batteries that came with my impact driver. I was changing two sets of 4 wheels / tires out on my trailer, it was very handy having two batteries to swap out, so didn’t have to stop for charging. They can be used with any other 18v tools for this brand, so I am looking to add more tools because of these batteries. Exceptional batteries
These batteries are amazing. They fit all the various Ridgid power tools 18-volt types. Some that I previous purchased I have had between 5-10 years and still they charge and work great. These new Ridgid 18V Lithium-Ion Max 4-0 Ah batteries are just additional power for my growing Ridgid power tool collection. What is great addition that I am able to recharge these batteries easily from my solar power farm. My sheds are completely assembled by these rechargeable batteries. I am also using them for many projects and they last and last. Very fast recharging as well. I am very satisfied and looking forward to many more years of service from them. You can also register your purchase of this 2-pack and receive a Lifetime Service Agreement. That is how confident this company is about their batteries. Thank you, Ridgid, and Home Depot, for providing your customers the very best in quality. I love and recommend this 2-pack battery pack. I am sure you will love them too!

I regularly use battery power tools by three well known quality tool companies. They all outperform cheap or non-pro quality tools, the kind I had near my workbench and were useless since their batteries wore out in the second year and replacements cost more than the tool.
I only buy quality tools now, and if you're thinking about buying these you have decided that Ridgid has given itself an advantage over all the rest by promising free replacement of tool or battery forever. They charge quickly and quietly, are relatively small in size, offer a charge test light, and give the kind of rugged performance you need. The 4 AH is only a bit larger than the 2 AH and saves a lot of time and effort.

These Ridgid 4.0 AH batteries have a lot more 'grunt' than their lower-rated siblings. They arrived just in time, I was running into trouble drilling deep holes with a 1" speed bit into a freshly cut hardwood stump. While it's no shock that a 4.0 AH battery outlasts a 2 AH battery, I was pleasantly surprised to find they were much less susceptible to overheating Plug right in to my existing chargers, and are an exact fit to Ridgid 18v tools. Heavier than the smaller batteries, for sure, but that is pretty much a given. They are approximately the same weight as their Milwaukee 4AH 18v cousins.

RIDGID 18V Lithium-Ion MAX Output 2.0 Ah Battery (2-Pack). This replacement battery set came with two batteries but no charger. They are the standard 18v batteries used in all of the Rigid tools. Each battery has a charge indicator activated by a small pushbutton near the led display. I have never tested the life of the batteries in use but the premise is that there is enough charge to last for two hours of use. An ampere hour or amp hour is a unit of electric charge, having dimensions of electric current multiplied by time, equal to the charge transferred by a steady current of one ampere flowing for one hour, or 3,600 coulombs.

RIDGID 18V Lithium-Ion MAX Output 2.0 Ah Battery (2-Pack) Having spare batteries lets you keep working while the other battery is charging. The batteries are lightweight and work in all my Ridgid tools. They last a lot longer than the 1.5 batteries. I have had these for a week and yet have needed to recharge them. Register within 90 days for lifetime parts and service. They did not come with a charger so I used the one that came with my drills. It is always good to have an extra battery available.
