18V Cordless 2-Tool Combo Kit with Digital Inflator and Torch Light (Tools Only)

Bike people: it does come with a presta adapter, though it is just one of those cheapo press-on adapters. If your main use for this is bikes though, you might want to try what I did. I just lopped off the end of the hose(you can't change the Schrader head that comes on the pump) and installed a replacement Park pump head. Fits perfectly and works well. You can set the pressure to what you want, lock the head onto your valve, and let it inflate until it stops at your setting.

Wotked very well. Was more cost effective to buy the bare tool and then a combo brushless drill and 2, 1.5 Ahr batteries. Thought I would need more than 1.5 Ahr but a single battery could bring up 4 tires that were each down 7 PSI. Bonus is that inflator, batteries, drill and charger all fit in the bag. Only (minor) negatives is that it is a little loud and the PSI gauge is whole numbers (no decimal place) however, when I compared to a high accuracy pressure gauge, it was spot on. Definitely would recommend.

Excellent portable inflator. Better than the lime-green alternative also available at HD. Spend the bit of extra bucks, especially if you already have other RIDGID 18 volt tools and don't need to buy a battery. Much more solid build. Lifetime Service Agreement (don't forget to register within 90 days). Can also power from 12 volt "cigarette lighter" in your car. Nice bright LED display. Awesome!

Flashlight is model R8694. I will cover specs, quality, other models and some additional uses i have not seen mentioned here. I will also cover suggestions for next iterations BOTToM LINE Bottom line upfront: excellent simple, reliable tool. Optimal price 20 usd. OK price 30 usd. PERFORMANC The flashlight outputs 300 lumens, which can not be altered or refocused. This means that the tool has minimal settings. None really. This is a double edged sword, as you can not focus or dissipate the beam as needed. As its set right for the middle (17inch diameter daylight circle at 15 feet, with about a 13 feet diameter circle where the light decipates and makes things somewhat visible.) SPECS this model is R8694, 300 lumens. Its predecessor is R8693B, 100 lumens (outside looks the same but less light is outputted, resulting in longer battery life. Specifically it was 48 continuous hours of being on on a 4AH battery if i recall. This is absolutely insane performance without any issues with overheating. It can still be bought as part of a 5Gen 5 tool combo kit (500usd online, 400 in many New England Home depot stores as of Spring 2021) Next model will be smaller, have a rafter hook, and likely have light stream modifications. (Not available as of Spring 2021) OTHER USES Besides jobsite uses are well covered here, it is a useful tool in off hours. Putting a battery on it and your whole family can safely use it if power go out, or if you need to change a tire in the rain. I took it on expeditions with me. Just a battery, no charger. It worked great and i could shine light at basecamp for hours as well as have a droppable light exploring world war 2 fortifications, which i could set down if need be and get closer to object im exploring. People were impressed when i could have it on for what seemed like all night, and still have plenty of charge left as we were packing up to go home. FOR HOME DEPOT I am interested in joining the seed program, as well as get a chance to review products not yet out. SUGGESTION Place a usb port, so it can double up as a phone charger. Add a joint to swivel the head down and up 45 degrees so i could use it as a more effective desklamp in field conditions. CONCLUSIONS FOR FUTURE MODELS Now i bought this tool separate, paid either 20-30 dollars and feel i got a quality product. In retrospect not super competitive price but because i see its strong points, and use them, the importance of a higher price is not a thorn.

I think this is a fantastic purchase for anyone who already owns Ridgid tools. I say this because it does not come with a battery. Its a good value as it is now, but Home Depot would sell many more if they included a battery with a solid Ridgid storage box, not a flexible bag, for those that want to keep one in their vehicle; otherwise paying $60 for a battery plus this tool will be a bit expensive for people only using the 18 volt tool for only one purpose. I tested it on 3 cars, inflated all 12 tires and one spare tire to test the unit out. I used a 2 Ah battery and was able to fill all the tires to the recommended Psi from 32 psi to 40 psi. The lowest tire was only at 15 psi and took a bit longer to fill but the good news was this Ridgid air pressure pump was able to fill all the tires on 3 cars with just the one battery i had brought out with me for testing purposes. After filling 13 tires with air, my 2 Ah battery still had 1 bar left. The tool is a life saver for anyone that has a low tire and doesnt want to risk driving to a gas staton or auto repair shop just for “air” and waste time and money doing so. Your best way of ordering is ordeing one omline and having it mailed directly to you. Much easier than driving to the store, trying to find one and deal with the covid situation we are in right now.

So I bought this and have had it for roughly two weeks. I've put air in 8 tires and topped mine off. works well, the hose does get warm/hot to the touch when being used so dont let kids touch it. I plan on buying a 9hr rigid battery soly for this inflator and my 1/2 rigid studdy impact to change tires is necessary. I commute and road trip often so I like having this in my truck. it works as it was designed too. my only Cons for this device is I wish there was a way to charge the battery by 12v outlet even if it's a slow charge. second. the built in gauge seems to be off by 5psi. now it is cold here in florida, a nice 52 degrees outside so that might be a contributing factor. also my valve stems were always a little difficult when it came time to put air in my tires with an actual air compressor so it might just be that I need new valve stems which I do plan on getting. the first time I used the inflator it was a lot warmer and the PSI was off by 1 when airing up my mother and fathers truck/car. so again, it could be weather/my tire stems. I highly recommend this little guy, the reason I didnt give it 5 stars is only because I wish there were a way to charge a battery through the Inflator for us people who are hundreds or thousands of miles over the road and dont have space/inverters in our vehicles. aside from that I am very happy with my purchase and happy with the performance of the Inflator thus far.

You need to run it about 10 lb over when you're filling the air and then when you let off the trigger it will back down to the actual pressure that's in the tire. The adapter that you thread on to the valve stem is a little tricky. Definitely a little noisy. It works pretty good and it doesn't chew up the battery from what noticed.

I love these products! Hands down not really much to say in the bad sense. Only issues are my own fault. Light weight, durable, this is my second one. The first one I threw at a wall...

With a family of 5 there is always something needing inflating; bike tires, floaties, sport balls, my ego. Having a simple to use, portable, rechargeable inflator is very convenient. A few weeks ago I went on a bike ride with my kids and my tires were flat. I dialed the psi to the correct value and just clicked the trigger. Bam, tire inflated in seconds. The only complaint is that the nozzle is sometimes difficult to seat correctly on the valve stem.
